As a group, we will engage in weekly, broad learning sessions focused around different systems of the human body. This process can and probably will change depending on the week. On some days, our sessions will consist of more ‘laid back’ learning: Watching educational youtube videos, browsing online anatomy atlases, taking part in group discussion, etc. On other days, we may take it to a different level: Watch and interact with virtual cadaver labs, listen and speak to guest speakers, etc. Additionally, members can create their own presentations relating to their favorite body system and present them to the club in a lecture-style format if they are so inclined (This is encouraged!)

Best Buddies is an international organization dedicated to ending the social, emotional, and economic isolation of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At our chapter, we pair students with and without IDD/VI in one-on-one friendships to foster inclusion in our school community. We hold weekly meetings where we do activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, and sports with our Special Olympics program, as well as go on monthly field trips to different schools, restaurants in our neighborhood, or places like the Lincoln Park Zoo. The Payton Historical Paper is Payton's premier historical magazine. We release either semesterly or quarterly issues each year (started last year) written by the writers. Students get to write about any historical topic they are interested in, as long as it fits the issue theme (e.g., "Today Through Yesterday's Lens", "The Price of Morality", "Challenges Driving Change"). Pieces are then edited and compiled (using Adobe InDesign) by the editors and published on our website paytonhistoricalpaper.org.

Science Olympiad is an academic team with events that explore a wide range of STEM topics including anatomy, astronomy, chemistry, genetics, fossils, circuits, sound, and even the construction of model planes and vehicles. Students on the team build models and study event topics together in partnerships of 2-3 people to prepare to compete in their respective events, from physics to biology, at official competitions.
